Meet Wenge and Hongye!

These two little love birds contacted my back in April about shooting their wedding this September and I was so excited to meet them and book their wedding then but then we had to wait till I got home from Thailand to do their engagement session.

We meet up at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens and I immediately felt like I was in some kind of enchanted forest and as we wondered the paths we talked about their wedding and their love and all of a sudden I felt like I was walking with friends and no longer strangers! We ended up our shoot at the lake and I was so excited because not only was the lake beautiful but it was a meaningful location where Hongye used to come when she was single and eventually one day got to bring her boyfriend, who later became her fiancee and soon to be husband! So sweet!

They are both from China and met at Clemson where they were both pursuing their Phds. They attended the same church and fell in love! I love how God works out the details of our lives in the sweetest ways and I'm not going to lie Im so excited that my first wedding I booked in America was that of an Asian couple...I mean how cool is God?
